Day 3: 6 Week Challenge

Something Different happened today…

It’s amazing how things I wasn’t thinking about have presented themselves as I began this challenge. I’ve been so focused on getting fit and to the right shape that it kind of took over my thinking in some ways. I didn’t think to make this a total life challenge. I made this a fitness challenge. A summer body challenge. I think I’m going to make it a total health challenge.

While working on this challenge I’ve started writing more, recording videos, being more energized to get things done. I didn’t take into account that trying to change one thing will have a domino effect on all aspects of your life. So, along with focusing on getting a good workout in and eating write, I’ll also be committed to writing more. Recording more videos. Posting more on social media. And sharing more of this journey. I am not a shut in person. If asked, I will share. But I’m getting to a point where I need an outlet. I love my journals but I’ve stopped writing. I realized that I am just keeping my thoughts to myself. Locked in a book that may never be read by anyone but me and although there are some things I will keep to myself, I believe there are some things I must release. We often carry things with us, holding it in, afraid to let go of something that brings us no value after the lesson or blessing is found. We like to keep secrets with ourselves because we have a hard time trusting someone else. But the truth is we were made to share, love, and inspire one another.

Share your life. Share your journey. Share your struggles. Share your thoughts.

Yes your thoughts. Someone once told me, ‘we’re always thinking.’ I laughed because I had not realized that, the little voice in my head has really always been there, rather I invited it or not. And no matter how hard you try, you’re always thinking. So, share your thoughts. Take the things that bring you the most joy, the most conflict, the greatest inspiration and share it with other people.

Your thoughts mean things.

Share them the best way you can. That could be through writing, speaking, praying, talking to close friends, dancing. Anything that you can do to express yourself works. Introduce you to yourself & then share you with the world. You were not created to be shelter in. Alone. By yourself. Share. As much as you need to. No more than you have. I’m just grateful for the opportunity to learn and get to know me better. Even if it is through a keyboard, video, or photo. Something will come of this. It always does. Thanks Day 3!
